FAIR ACTIVITIES

— Kubb Tournament —

Don't know how to play Kubb? Me either. Come learn how Friday evening from 4 to 6pm on the track by the beer tent. Then, at 6pm, we'll sign up teams and have a tournament. For $20, your 2-4 person team will have a chance to defeat last year's champs - the Steiner brothers.
 
  
— Gilmanton Gallop 5K Run/Walk —


The Gilmanton Gallop 5K will be held again this year at 8:30 am on Saturday morning. Check out the 5K's page for more info and to download a registration form!


— Bicycle Ride —

Running not your style? New this year, there will be a 10-mile and 50-mile bicycle ride, held in conjunction with the Gilmanton Gallop. Starts at 8:30 am on Saturday morning. Check out the 5K's page for more info. 

   

— Free Saturday Night Shuttle —


The Community Club is sponsoring a free shuttle between Mondovi and Gilmanton again this year on Saturday night. Don't want to hunt for a parking spot or risk driving home after an evening in the Beer Tent? We got you covered.  
 
  
—Classic Car Show—

Bring your classic car down on Friday night from 5 to 7 in the grass next to the track. 
  

—Bean Bag Tournament—


The bean bag tournament will be held after the Parade on Sunday afternoon on the track by the beer tent. Sign up at the beer tent starting at 1pm. Entry fee is $20 a team.  
 

—Cook Off—

This will be the fair's eleventh annual BBQ Cook Off.

—Sportsmans Club Fishing Booth —

The Sportsmans Club will have their booth set up across from the beer tent all weekend. Try your hand at catching a real fish for prizes! All proceeds from this booth go directly to the Sportsmans Club to help fund their activities, which include maintaining the park and stocking the pond and local streams each spring.  


—Junior Class Malt Stand —

The Junior Class (and many of their parents!) will be running a malt stand in the garage next to the Chicken Stand. All proceeds from this go to the Junior Class and helps fund Prom and other class activities. 


— Youth Baseball Tournament —

Come visit the baseball field throughout the weekend to cheer on area youth baseball teams. If you have a team interested in playing, contact Ashley Henthorn.  


— Parade —

The parade is a perennial family favorite on Sunday afternoon. Come check out the band, veterans, youth groups, local businesses, and other participants in the parade...and maybe get some candy to boot. If you are interested in being part of the parade, contact Jeremiah Bauer at 715-495-3562.  


— State Sanctioned Pedal Tractor Pull —

We are doing a state-sanctioned Pedal Tractor Pull again this year! There is no entry fee required, kids still have a chance to win a locally donated Pedal Tractor, plus there will be an opportunity to advance to the state competition! Sign up starting at 4 on Saturday afternoon. Competition to begin around 4:30. 


THE CARNIVAL!

The Gilmanton Free Fair is excited to have Calkins Midways returning to Gilmanton in 2017! They will have rides, games and food stands Friday through Sunday. There will be wristband specials and advance ride tickets...check back soon for more details!
